So why does this thread have so many replies exactly? Is it the fact OP thought 10 lbs was bulk?

Well you're a n00b. This thread is three years old and a perfect example of how ATOT'ers can take a concept and extrapolate it to the most extreme level imaginable.

I had some epic Argentinian Rib Eye at the weekend. Not bulk, but very awesome.

I miss bbqing strips of cross cut beef rib on charcoal... Butchers here look at me funny when I ask them to cut it that way. Fucking municipal code doesn't allow me to chop down a cherry tree and turn the spot into a fire pit :(

<---lived in Buenos Aires for 8 years... I miss buying beef by the kilogram.

I was thinking of building this. When we were doing bbq, the norm is to buy 1kg of meat per guest. So it would be beef, chicken, pork, sausages, lamb, intestines, kidney, etc.

Went to one of those in Miami recently. V nice. Not as nice as when we did it that style, around an open fire, al fresco down on the Finca in the Colombian Janos. THAT was nice. :awe:

Now THAT is bulk!

Scary part is that is like once a month for the village kind of thing. That picture is probably just the neighbourhood though.

I have been to a few. In fact, I went to a special one. It was Halley's Comet BBQ :)

We boarded a tour bus, drove out to the farm and had an old fashioned bbq just like that picture and telescopes were setup for viewing Halley. This was back in 1986.
