What's a good OCing network card?

My new Epox 8KHA+ didn't seem to get along well with my Realtek NIC, so I had to swap it out for a crusty old 10mbps NIC my bro had lying around. Its keeping me from OCing the FSB past 150mhz though, keep getting a windows registry error and puts me into safe mode. Was wondering what NIC's people are using to push their FSB's to 150+. Its kinda off topic, but the networking board folks seem more focused on speed/performance/reliability. I'm looking for OCing stability 🙂

Thanks,

hah, you probably wont believe it, but my SMC 10/100 PCI nic i got from RoadRunner is running @ 44mhz, and i didnt even know for like a week!

Just out of interest, when you overclock the fsb and it inevitably overclocks the PCI cards, is there any additional benefit in terms of the network card?

I don't think you would gain any extra bandwidth or throughput. I'm guessing that is largely determined by your broadband/network connection. I think the main difference between over-clocking and other NIC cards would be the latency between the CPU's execute function and how long the NIC takes to execute those functions. I've used a few NIC's over the years, and some seemed to hang or pause longer than others before sending/receiving info.
