Im leaving for Europe tomorrow, and heading back to Düsseldorf for a couple of days before going on a trip around Europe. There's a great little Italian resturant on the corner that I always used to visit. We became good friends and I wanted to bring them a little something. What would be a good gift to bring a resturant? Something small that could hang on the wall? Something that could get displayed behind the bar? Ideas?

Get a picture of yourself and put it in a frame. A nice big picture, about 20x30, and sign it. That'd be pretty inexpensive to do.

Are the owners Italian? Give them something that represents their culture, I'm sure they'd like that.

bring them something that is unique to your area of the world - a food or product of some kind made right where you live.
don't get an Italian "something Italian".

A cardboard cut out of Burt Reynolds, a giant baby bottle, a coffee mug that says "#1 Dad", and an oven mitt that is shaped like a dogs face.

A nice little winerack would be cool. Something the could hold like 3 bottles of wine. They can be put virutally anywhere and since it's an Italian restaurant I'm sure they have plenty of bottles of wine to fill it with.

Buy them a package of "American cheese". The sliced stuff that says "process cheese food" on the wrapper. :disgust:
