what brand? there will be huge differences between cheap whey chocolate flavor and higher quality stuff... personally, i really like Syntrax Nectar Chocolate Truffle. It's pure whey protein isolate, 23g of protein per serving with virtually no calories, carbs or fat, and it tastes fantastic. mix it with milk and it's indistinguishable from chocolate milk.
if you're really set against chocolate, i've found vanilla and cappuccino to be pretty good too.
It depends entirely on the brand, but in my experience, chocolate is the hardest flavor to mess up. Put another way: if a company's chocolate whey protein tastes bad, stay far away from any of their other flavors.
Strawberry. I haven't used chocolate in about 5 years. Strawberry - you can mix with damn near anything - water, milk, any kind of juice, Gatorade, etc, and it still tastes great. Can't say the same about chocolate.

I switched from chocolate to Optimum Nutrition vanilla ice cream flavor, it is awesome and actually does taste like vanilla ice cream. The texture isn't like ice cream obviously, but the taste is pretty spot on. And delicious.
I think strawberry usually works pretty well with any brand. Vanilla is ok too. You can always get some vanilla and mix in some fat free/sugar free pudding mix http://www.kraftfoods.com/jell...-free-instant-pudding/ if you want some different flavoring. Doesn't take much of the stuff.
I must be lucky, I buy cheap Life brand (Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada house brand) chocolate flavour whey and I love the taste, been using it for almost a year now.
The Orange Cream flavor made by AllTheWhey.com is pretty good, IMO. If you mix it with milk it tastes like a creamsicle (albeit with a bit of that whey aftertaste that all whey proteins seem to have).
I'm looking at AllTheWhey.com as the above poster mentioned, I've been leaning toward the strawberry since many of you guys recomend it. Is this brand good?
I've used chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry banana, and just got a jug of the Syntrax Nectar natural peach that I'll be using. What I use all depends on my mood at the time, but the straw-banana or vanilla, in the blender with some frozen berries, is really good. If you do protein in your morning coffee, the chocolate rocks!
