neat, please let us know when the beta is released. I hope they don't charge too much for the final product.

i second the pencil and paper method. seems simple and cheap. plus you can use the items for other things such as writing.

It's like Google...it's been in Beta for decades and not expected to ever change...but as for pricing, there are lots of add-ons that you can buy which will change the pricing...and of course, every vendor has its own pricing structure...

Take some courses at a community collage? My daughter is taking graphics design classes.

and if you don't like to mess with paper, you could get someting like this and us MS paint.

Community collage? Is that where everyone in town gets to come add a picture to your board?

It's called "Pencil & Paper." It's still in beta testing, but it's supposed to be the best method for learning how to draw.

the computer and mouse are just really fancy pencils, the monitor is really good paper. the course of learning to draw can be done on paper, computer or even dirt in the backyard. starting off on paper is just easier, thats all.

OP, if you want to learn how to draw, head to your local book store and pick up any number of "how-to" books on it. read them a few times, then do the exercises in them. whether you do them on paper or in photoshop/ corel/ illustrator/ paint, youre teaching yourself the basics of drawing. i get different themed books for my kids (and myself) all the time. the latest one ive been working on is dragons.
