What's a good cpu temp?

I'm usually at 50c while gaming and 43c idle, is that ok or should I go back down to 1 ghz?

Ambient temp is the same as room temp, or the temperature of the air surrounding the CPU. In this case, it could also mean the temperature inside the case....
