Pah! I say again, PAH! EPson aculaser c900. Fantastic photo output BUT expensive to run. Retails for $1000 AU so much less in the states. BUT just cost me $800 for new toners. Next time round I might consider just buying the Canon laser thats around that price instead of buying new toners. I have no idea what the quality is like.

Having said that if you want high quality photo output get an inkjet that uses archival inks. Epson is brining out an A4 ultrachrome inkjet. Prints last 80yrs+. Indestinguishable from a photo, wide gamut. Epson ultrachrome printers are the bees knees.

Here

Thats the updated version of my Tektronix Phaser 850, except I still get free black ink, and mine comes loaded with network interface, and Duplex and 64 meg ram. And to Macro2, I don't know which Kinkos you went to, but as I sais I used to work for Tektronix foe 20 years, and that was one of our biggest sales, over 10,000 printers to Kinkos at about an average of $5k each !(just guessing based on the mix, $3k and $8k printers)
