Normally I would recommend sprint, but I don't know about their coverage in Orlando. I am sure it is very good. My brother lives in Lakeland and said Cingular rocks down there. He is on a nationwide plan.

Small world, im in Gainesville about an hour and a half north :)

Id highly reccomend Voicestream, theve been fantastic for me so far. The only place i havent been able to get service is down in Naples when i visited a friend for the weekend, but other than that its been fine. I was even getting service inside the Dueling Dragons castle at IOA :)

How much were you looking to spend? :D

Cingular was great for me down in South Florida, but up here in North Florida it was horrendous. Its amazing how much cell phone companies can vary from one city to the next.

<< Less than $100 for the phone and less than $40/month for the plan >>

HERE is the list of rate plans Voicestream offers.

They all include nationwide roaming and long distance. I was on the $39.99 plan for awhile and it was fantastic. 500 weekday/unlimited weekend minutes.

As for the phones, HERE is a list of them. I currently am using the Nokia 8290 and i love it, but they dont offer it anymore. Check out Howardchui.com for cell phone reviews, also check in their forums for peoples complaints and praises about specific phones and services.

Hope this helps...
