What's a good book to explain physics and electricity to an average person?

Feynman is very readable, this is considered essential reading.

Compsci is essentially discrete maths so that's not really fair...

My school didn't require any physics papers either, nor electronic engineering, nor any knowlege of computer hardware assembly/troubleshooting/repair etc.

Of course those things are good to know though. My final project involved a lot of networking, and another guy did robotics - we had two of the highest marks.

Feynman's Lectures on Physics are much more readable than textbooks like Griffiths.

Why are you hating because his school does not require physics for CS? Lots of colleges do not have their students take physics and some colleges only limit them to physics 1.

I was just bugging him I know different colleges have different requirements. Core Physics 1 is a req for me.
