Uses the exact same active ingredient as H&S Intensive Treatment. (Blue bottle)
They are interchangeable. But I find H&S smells better and makes my hair feel nicer.
Aslo, Selsun Blue is roughly twice as expensive at H&S IT.

I don't have it that bad, so I pick up H&S from our Local Liquidators for cheap.

Selenium Sulfide works wonders.
T-Gel uses Coal Tar. Never worked for me.

Hmm. I shall try this H&S IT you speak of. T-Gel extra strength is doing jack sh!t right now for me.

I have sebbhoreic dermatitis (sp?) and Head & Shoulders intensive does work well for regular maintenance. When it gets really bad, if the coal tar T-gel doesn't work, there's also a salicylic acid version which is supposedly more effective (and thus more expensive).Originally posted by: Amused

Denorex is the only one that works for me. It uses salicylic acid.
