Can anyone tell me any good mousepad that will also last me for a while?
I have an Everglide and as a mousepad it's great, but the Ever in Everglide is becomming more and more ironic.

Oh and while Im asking I might just as well ask about a good mouse as well?
Are there any good mice out there without the cursed mousewheels?
I want 3 buttons thats all.

Dude.. if you want a good mouse, get the best (IMO) mouse there ever was.. the logitech optical wheel mouse.. I think that's what it's called.. it's the dark blue one, the ergonimically designed one.. best mousing experience ever. I've tried a bunch of mice, but logitech mice are my favourite... they just feel nice in the hand.. and look now! You don't need an overpriced piece of plastic *coughmousecoughpad* anymore.. :)

Optical mouses don't need to have a mousepad, but it's still nice to have one since when your zipping along your desk at top speeds trying to frag your enemies in CS, you'll be scratching your desk and mousepads don't have as much friction.

Btw, a new MS mouse is coming out, supose to scan at 6000 dpi a sec. That will probobly avoid those damn cursor screw-ups if you move your optical mouse at top speed.. they even have a cordless version :Q.

Btw, what's the scan dpi of a logitech optical?

I believe the new Logitech mice are 800dpi, the ones that say "2x as fast" on the box.

DAMN The new MS mouse will never ever go crazy at top speeds.. Hopefully their wireless technology will keep up with the same pace.

smp, I agree Logitechs are very nice, have been using them for some time now.
Unfortunately, they, just like everyone else, seem to make only wheel mice these days.
Cept for the very low end mice that is.

I dont see why its so damn hard to make a good optical mouse without that damn wheel :|

And thanks all for the mousepad suggestions, I found a place that sells Ratpadz, Ill look into one of those.

Well that wheel is for convenience.. when you want to select weapons in games.. like select between weapons in CS and that.. and for web page surfing, rather than dive for the scroll bar every single time.. and also for other scrolling needs.. so i don't see why you don't like it?

Albert. :D

The Func Surface 1030 is by far the best mousepad. Its got a smooth side and a rough side, you choose depending on your preference. The actual pad fits on a rubber base that has a mousecord clip so extra slack doesnt mess you up while gaming. only thing that sux is its like 20 bux.
