i know ill get flames but anyways, is there a good alternative to kazaa that doesnt kill your system with spyware etc?

Overnet/Edonkey. Or, preferably, the open alternatives, such as mldonkey or emule.

If you don't know how to do it, go here, download a boot disk image, put a blank floppy disk in your floppy drive, and run the program. Then restart your computer while the floppy disk is still in the drive. Your computer will (should) boot from the floppy disk into DOS.

Once you're there, type "format c:\"
Depending on how big your hard drive is, this may take awhile, since it has to change a lot of settings.

After that's done, take the floppy drive out, and restart your computer.

I hear that new fdisk program works just as well, and doesn't take near as long.

I find fdisk too complicated, too many menus.
