Hey there, I'm looking for a good cpu and motherboard to replace a faulty and 6 year old cpu and mobo. I'm not very good or up to date with what's good and what's not, I just google it which doesn't always produce the greatest results. I have found, Ryzen 5 3600/MSI B450 Tomahawk MAXand and an i5-10600 would be doable with a cheaper z490 or b460 so long as it doesn't sacrifice quality so much. Would love an i7-9000k but something decent without any lag or screen tearing when flying through a tree or walking through a gas cloud while getting blasted in the dome would be nice. I'm looking in the $400 range so you know my budget. Your help is greatly appreciated. Here's my current build.
