Geil

currently looking at this. i have the 1Gb kit at the moment and now thinking of going to 2Gb. i have a skt754 system, so i cant really buy a gig stick and whack it in since i dont want to run DDR200

buying a 2Gb kit is the only way i can have both DDR400 and 2gigs

this is the cheapest i can find, £140 before shipping. good? are there better 2Gig kits out there? bearing in mind i have about £200 to spend

Hehe I had spotted those. They seem like decent enough sticks and you could probably get slightly tighter timings at stock although they probably won't be amazing overclockers.

That's the reason why I ended up looking at getting better overclocking RAM so when the rig gets upgraded to dual-core it'll benefit from the added bandwidth.

Either way if you do get them report back with your experiences.

I'm looking for the same. In that pricerange you can also get some OCZ Value (OCZ4002048V3DC-K) or OCZ Performance (OCZ4002048PFDC-K).

I'll probably buy the performance.

I would say get the OCZ Performance kit. I've seen pretty good overclocks from other people who have them.

most around that price has 3-4-4-8 timings, for ~£50-60 more you can get 2-3-2-5.

Denmark, the 2gb performance kit is 2200Dkr ~£200 here. All other prices are similar to UK, so I thought it would be the same in UK.

Geil is a good brand, I have the 1 gig kit in my system right now. The AL heat spreader is a nice touch for value ram.
