hey guys, i am applying for a business analyst job
and i am not sure about how to write this phrase. I am writing the cover letter and going on the tactic of simplicity while maintaining the same level of meaning.
im checking out consulting
please let me know if you have any experience
and any opinions and such are welcome
thanks guys

well im trying to say that my degree is helpful for understanding the structural component of 'how things work'
like how the word algorithm is the word for 'the method of how to go about solving a problem'
someting along the lines of the 'physics of things'

nope lol. i didnt get them really-
what i meant is that I am applying for a job. I am currently writing the cover letter to them and I was trying to utilize simplicity in it. Less words, same meaning, ya know?
Sorry, I am in a rush, the deadline was an hr ago, which already is really bad, but im going to make this cover letter nice. I hope!
Did you not even the comments you wrote?!!? lol no no, jk

I hope your cover letter has better grammar and cohesiveness than you are displaying in this thread.

you could always use a really big word like Floccinaucinihilipilification and hope that don't actually means that it essentially means "worthless."

why not reword ""my degree is helpful for understanding the structural component of 'how things work' " instead of trying to find a word for 'how things work'?

I personally think that the word "mechanics" is the most accurate match for "how things work," but it's probably not the most useful word for his application.
