What's a cool necklace for a guy?

What would be a cool necklace to get? I'm a cargo pants and nice dark shirt kind of guy, not really into fashion too much but would like to know what the current trend is for jewelery for us guys. I'm interested in the silver chain necklaces, the ones you see at the mall, but there's different styles and i'm not sure what's popular and what's not. I don't want it to look too blingy, nor do i wanna pay too much for it. So what do u wear or suggest i get here? And what's a good store online to look at for this kind of stuff?
 
Were you going to try to avoid looking gay too? Seriously, I think gay whenver I see men with necklaces of any kind. Except thuggish looking ones, but if you don't look thuggish, you will look gay.
 
Men shouldn't wear necklaces, and if they do, they should wear what they like because they like it, not because it's "popular" or "in fashion". Everything in fashion looks completely stupid in 10 years anyhow.

I'm not joking here... your neck and t-shirt actually look gay to me with the chain. Although I don't know for sure it wouldn't anyway, but the chain definitely sets it off.
 
I wear one of these.

In reference to German/Prussian history, and not the "West Coast/Orange County Choppers" bullsh!t and/or other fad companies who have been exploiting the symbol because it "looks cool."
 
i have two necklaces one that my mom gave me in jr high that has a small virgin mary on it and the other my wife gave me...

but i never wear them outside my shirt so no one really sees them..


but thats just me...i see alot of younger guys wear the chains outside their shirts...which i think is just to try and attract the females.
