3000GT falls in the same category as Supra, 300ZX, and RX-7. All slow cars.

Huh? I belive he was referring to the NON-DSM Eclipses...which are N/A V6s and are slow as ******.

Because there's alot of other cars that can be considered fast that don't fit into that.

Lexus SC430. Anyone who didn't know the actual specs of the car would think it's a ridiculously fast sports car. Too bad it isn't.

Um, the Lightning is fast. Also, a WRX is no slouch right out of the showroom and they can be made to be quite fast with a few simple mods.

Highlighted for clarity.

You misinterpreted what he was saying.

That list is cars that are fast that don't fit into the category of real muscle cars or high end imports.

I figured we were talking more about sports cars not trucks.

Which Cougar? The new one? The one that was a clone of the Thunderbird? Or the original, which was a Mustang clone and actually was fast?

Eh I like the 3000 GT, it's got a good oomph to it, more so then a regular car. Plus it looks like a really cheap Ferarri. 😛

What track? Autocross? Nurburgring? The drag strip that most people who really do race go to?

Ehhh...you must be thinking of another car. A non-turbo 3000GT/Stealth would have a hard time out running a Corolla. My friend had a base model 3000GT and he couldn't break out of the 17's in the 1/4 mile at the local track.
