Since the last year or so, B&M seemed to have been added to the list of Hot Deals jargon. Can anyone clue me in?

I'll go with Brick&Mortar. A physical store, as opposed to an Internet Store or Mail Order Company.

Brick and Mortar isn't a name of a store, it's every single store that exists physically, meaning every store in every mall is B&M, since it is in a building, made up of, bricks, and mortar. Fry's in a B&M, CompUSA is B&M and such... just anything made of bricks that sells retail merchandise is classified as B&M.

:D

Well, if you want to get technical, it doesn't HAVE to be made of bricks. Any building material will work. B&M seems to cover all physical stores, regardless of construction technology employed ;)

Pretty much what everyone else is saying. Basically an actual physical store as opposed to a cyber store, those online merchants that occassionally work out of their basement, the garage, or their Mom's nightgown closet. Also not a BM store, since a Bowel Movement store would be a crappy place to shop for computer components!:p

I don't have any Brick&Mortar stores around here, they're all made out of concrete.

O0oo0o0o0, now i get the picture. I thought Brick and Mortar was some sort of franchise, where they specialized in walk-in stores.
