I wish you could still buy pepsi/coke in a Glass(bottle).Tastes soo much better. Very hard to find now. Just a quick thought for a monday. What's one thing that you wish was still around?
 
The things I miss most that aren't available any more are:

1) Gelatin pops.
2) Hot and Spicy Goldfish.

mexican delis and grocery stores usually have coke in a bottle.

It is (1) in a bottle and (2) uses sugar instead of corn syrup. Many people only buy their coke from Mexican stores for those reasons.

That was the first thing that came to my mind as well when I saw the thread title. The reusable glass bottles with a deposit were the ultimate in recycling back when we didn't call it recycling.
 
Sons and Daughters show on ABC.

One of the best comedy shows I've ever seen. ABC cancelled it after 10 episodes since it was competiting with the Lost time slot IIRC.
 
Hair. I'm tired of trimming the nether regions and shaving my chest just to take my shirt of when I hit the beach. There, I said it.

Back in the day when you returned the bottles for candy with a note pinned to ya asking the clerk for a brand of cigarettes for your mom or dad, no I.D. check for a 7 yr. old kid, no questions asked..., "Here's your smokes kid"

humm, the krogers around here have coke in 8oz bottles. but i do remember the BIG glass bottles of coke, i forgot how many oz they were but i do know if you dropped one on your foot it was a trip to ER.

yeap i agree! a few places in Iowa used to have them. every time we made a trip into iowa i would get 2-3 cases! sure it was expensive (you pay a deposit on them. but man i like it more then cans.


 
Peace symbols, and peace in general. Nowdays it seems like we just want to get on the same page so we can eliminate thse different than us.
