how'd everyone's weekend turn out?

fantastic. rode my motorcycle into work friday, got a decent amount done, hung out with my brother friday/saturday, took my bike in for service, went to a party saturday night, and had a birthday party for my dad today.

You have fresh okra? Hopefully you'll be frying up some as well as pickling some. We bought okra today so we'll probably fry it up tomorrow or cook it with bacon and tomatoes.

Oh heck ya, I already have. I always save some aside for frying. yum, yum.

bummed around at home all 2 days.

friday night was ok though. went out with a bunch of friends around downtown. unfortunately one of them was under 21 and we couldn't hit up any clubs/bars.

today i let the pets out in the back yard. spent 30 min trying to find the rabbit. usually they're hopping all over the place. I guess it was a little warm and he found shelter behind a bush and hid there... not the typical guy
