Just curious as to how many hopeless romantics there are here on AT. ^_^

I'm still trying to decide what to do for the wife, so, maybe some one'll post some good ideas, lol.

I'm thinking about taking my wife to the Melting Pot for some fondue. They just opened a new one closer to where we live.

Flowers sent to her work, then maybe a meal unsure yet. then leave on the 16th for a weekend in Looe, Cornwall UK

We'll probably go out for dinner the day before or after to avoid any crowds.

Visit Hallmark and buy a sappy card and a funny card and thank god once the Hallmark sales bonanza day is in my rear view mirror for another year.

Not a damn thing. Our birthdays are so close to the holiday its not funny. Plus we share the opinion that V-day is purely a "commercial" holiday :).

Having flowers delivered to her workplace, a nice dinner together and I'm going buy a dance lesson package. She's hinted more than once that she thinks it would be fun for us to learn a specific dance style so why not...

Sadly, the flowers that will die in a week cost more than the special I got on the dance lesson package. :roll:

but nothing going on here... gotta figure out if i'm going to have one first!

I'm having flowers, chocoloates, and a teddy bear sent to my girlfriend, then once I see her that evening I am going to take her to dinner at the Melting Pot and give her, her gift. What I did for the gift was get an old jam jar (this thing is huge!) I cleaned it out, and I'm painting the outside of it pink, and in red painting random things like "happy valentines day" "I love you" small stuff like that, and on the inside I've cut out (so far) 350 little hearts out of construction paper, and on each piece I've written a reason why I love her, an inside joke, a lyric from a favorite song, and some other things etc. I figured she could keep it on her desk and whenever she needs a lift, or a reminder how much she means to me, should could just open the jar.

Taking her to Bob's Steak and Chophouse for dinner. Bringing her a bottle of wine and some other random stuff for her also.
