Its common knowledge the Japanese will never buy anything american like a american made console. They may not do well in Japan, but the will not tank in the more important markets like the USA, and countries in Europe. The gaming market in Japan is on the decline, while the US is the most important markets followed by England, Germany, then Japan, Korea, then Australia.
My prediction is they will be neck and neck with Sony, with the Xbox 360 doing substaintially better in the US and Europe, while Sony does extremely well in Japan.

the 360 is in no way overpriced
