Whatever happened to Compuwiz's dogs?

I've tried to thank people in the threads, as well as emails, provided I had a good email. Some of the ones I got directly from paypal bounce. I'm not done with that process, of saying thanks, and probably will never be able to adequately thank those who helped. mjs22 posted a thread with a picture, that I had sent him, including an update about the dogs. It was deemed inappropriate and deleted here.

Let me say it here, and to some again; Thank you very much!

It was an awsome gesture and incredible response.

Now, where have I been? I've was in the hospital for a couple days, and have been in therapy for the past 3 weeks. I'm starting to feel better, and am back on track, so I can pursue employment.

How are the Dogs? Barney (Yellow Lab) is fully recovered. Blue (Dalmatian) had his right front leg amputated at the shoulder. He's about as fast on 3 legs as he was on 4. He just has yet to grow his fur back and he will be as recovered as can be. The family and I are very greatfull they are still with us. It was very close. Those of you who did this unbelievable kind thing for us, we are thankful for friends like you.
