Whataburger was robbed while i was there for lunch today...

Well, that made for an interesting lunch. Two guys that walked in behind me waited around until i ordered, got up next to order and each of them pulled out handguns and robbed the place. They didn't hurt anyone or anything and grabbed the cash and ran.

Had to wait around about 30 minutes to talk with the police officer that was investigating. There was a video system in the resturant, so that was good.

Life in the big city! 😀

(happened in Phoenix btw)
 
Man, that's scary, even if nobody was hurt I'd be freaked out. Sorry to hear that, hopefully they catch them.

 
Oh wow, thats something you don't experience everyday. Were the robbers wearing masks or were they dumb enough to get videotaped through the whole thing? Also, did it look like they got away with a lot of cash? Your story seemed a bit brief, just curious.

No worries...i know my story was brief.

No, they weren't wearing masks...lol. Pretty amateur. They didn't even drive up...they just walked up. and didn't leave in a car.

I doubt they got away with much...it was only about 11am.

Heh, I agree. How stupid can one get? I mean, I realize criminals aren't exactly the most intelligent bunch, but you'd have to be about as smart as a glass of water to rob a fast food place right at the start of lunch rush, with security cameras fully visible, tons of witnesses present (I assume), on foot, with no masks....I mean, jeezus.

Unfortunately there weren't many witnesses. I think there was only like 4 customers, and maybe four people working there. One guy had a pretty good description.
