How old are you? A cheaper car will mean very low car payments to go with your probable high insurance rates if you're young. A $25k car for your first car??

Just depends on how much you can afford.

You will do better though to get a car that is a couple of years old. Let some other guy take the hit on the huge depreciation you get as soon as you drive off the lot.
