Nice pic. Makes me want to get a kitten.

As for the grammar, "my wife and me" or "me and my wife" is correct. I think the second one sounds better but technically, both are correct as far as I know. The rule I was always taught was to take out the reference to the other person and if the sentence makes sense with just "me" or "I", then you've used the correct one. "It took I/me 3 weeks to name him."
