Being honest saves you and the other time. Being present with the other person, and them with you, honors both of you.

I like to lay it all out on the table on a first date. And by it I am of course referring to my junk.

The only acceptable thing to talk about on a first date is poutine. Just talk poutine.

I just immediately talk about my foot fetish. If she's into it great! If not, FUCK HER! I mean, fuck her...

That video was garbage! Seriously. You don't talk about controversial subjects FFS. I learned that you avoid politics and religion at all costs. Especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas! When I met woman I would talk about our interests, hobbies, favorite music and go from there. Some woman are very boring!

Best is small talk with frequent awkward silences. The more awkward silences, the better. The winner has the most!

I think the video is dead on. It just makes sense. Give the person an idea of who you are.

I like the idea of avoiding talking about movies, because it's likely to end up in a disagreement, however trivial or light-hearted. A disagreement over a more weighty, controversial topic is more likely to reveal who the person is. It has some value for both of you.

Don't talk about religion or politics? Bullshit. I won't talk about religion or politics (or the top five all-time NFL quarterbacks, or the best all-time NBA lineup) with a stranger in a bar, because I don't need to get into a heated argument while I'm just trying to kick back. And because I couldn't care less about their opinions on any of the subjects. But on a date? If she's a born again christian? That date is ending early and there won't be a second one.
