Two negatives make a positive. A clone might just be what you need to perk you up again.

What the hell would I do with a clone? Hang out with myself? WTF would we talk about? We would just sit there and agree with eachother.
Dragon FTW!

A clone would be interesting if only for the fact it makes for airtight alibis :D ;)

Dragon Wars and what not.

I'm pretty sure a dragon would lose to an F-22 or whatever is current when it grows up, so I wouldn't be fighting any wars with a dragon.

Hell, some insurgents w/ an RPG could def. end that dragon.

But Dragons can maneuver unlike any plane. And they are cold blooded, as they are reptilian. Can missiles lock onto that?

Easily. Radar lock FTW. Birds register on radar, and you can't suddenly pretend that the dragon is stealth (plus, LIDAR FTW).

It doesn't matter that the dragon can fly in circles, a salvo of AIM-14s from over the horizon behind the dragon won't miss.

Dragons also have VTOL, you know. ;)

Huh? Last time I checked, apaches weren't magically invulnerable to missiles....

The effectiveness of the dragon's natural armor is also an unknown in this equation. Maybe missiles would be ineffective.

Two negatives only make a positive if you multiply them (I don't think I want to multiply with my clone...not that it would work either). If you add them you still have a negative. Then again if I kill my clone I would be subtracting a negative and I come out ahead... maybe a clone wouldn't be such a bad thing

I'd take both. And punch the OP in the nose if they tried to stop me.

It would be awesome having a clone. We'll have a good time raising our baby dragon. The three of us would raise hell together.

Show be any compound in any part of any living (or extinct) animal that can withstand a direct hit from an RPG shaped charge designed to punch through an Abrams (worst case scenario, taking ground fire) and I'll buy it.

But if you took both one of you would die. It might be you. It might be the dragon. It might be...er...the other you.

It's a dragon man!! They are dinosaur sized lizards that can fly and breathe fire. Who knows what else they can do.

It's a baseline. Tell you what. Take the strongest animal material, triple it, for the weakest spot on the dragon.

I'd still bet on the RPG.

Now take the number of planes in the world, and then subtract it from the number of people who would choose dragons in the world...lol. 1-1, the plane would win probably. 1-100 (estimate)... I dunno.

But I guess you would also have to calculate other factors in, like dragon deaths and what not.

Huh? Now I'm lost. Everybody gets dragons? That changes the equation a little. Not enough to tip it, but a bit.

I would never unleash just AT onto the world with dragons and clones.

would my clone's clone get a choice as well? And if so, would the clone of my clone's clone get a choice? And his clone as well?

I'm thinking I could easily build a clone army.

...Or a sweatshop.

Yes. Until someone chose a dragon.

Either way, you could rule a third world country with an iron fist. Just make sure you tatoo all the clones so the leader is clearly known...

Well if you have a mutinous streak, so will they.

This theory makes my brain melt.

If I chose a clone over a dragon, wouldn't he choose a clone as well, since we're basically the same? Then his clone would choose a clone, then his clone another clone, etc. Or would the last memory be applied (ie. the clone would know that I chose him over a dragon, and thus, might change his decision)?

Well think of it this way.
You choose clone because you know your clone could choose a dragon.
You clone would understand your reasoning, as you thought a certain way before he was created, and choose a dragon. But you could never have both. It would be your clone's dragon, not yours. Even though you are the exact same as your clone when he is created, he begins to change as your experiences differ.
Just the fact that you choose clone and he chooses dragon makes him the slightest bit different.
But then again, if you were created and your clone/creater expected something of you, would you do it?
Personally I don't know what I would do, but I am a stubborn person.

It's not magical, it's mythical, there's a slight diff. ;)
