What would you put it on in Roulette?

If you were going to play some Roulette what would you bet on of these three options:

colours (red/black)
even or odd number
number range (1-18/19-36)

These options have the same odds (I think...they are still lower than house though) but just curious what you'd bet on. Most people I know seem to bet on colours. I've never seen someone do the number range.

I'd take a look at the wheel, if 19-36 were raised lettering (numbering? 😛) I'd bet it on them - slightly more weight on that half, all double-digit numbers and fewer 1's. If indented, I'd bet it on 1-18. This would of course make absolutely zero difference but I'd feel better about it than just picking something at random. 🙂

Heh that actually makes sense (the 19-36 having more weight to it 😉

Hrm I feel like putting down my paycheck from working winter break (still have it and haven't spent it). If I lose....at most I'd go home drunk and wouldn't get overly bothered. This didn't stem from that guy who sold all his life long accumulations and let it ride....I've been thinking about this since Christmas 😛

I wonder if it would be smart to wait for like, 3 reds to roll in a row then bet on black.

There is still an even chance it could be red again instead of black but statistically it should be time for it to land elsewhere? hrm 😉

no statistically no.

the only game where you can get an advantage on the house is blackjack... and at best, its a 1% advantage.

if you just wanna play for a while though, pai gow (spelling) poker is prob your game... you can play that game for hours and still break even
