What would you pay?

I'm thinking about building a system with some of my older parts for resale. I't would be a fairly low-end system, and I'm not sure what to charge. I'm planning on trying to sell a tower only no keyboard or monitor. Perhaps some of you out there can give me an idea. Thanks

System Specs
Athlon XP 2600 Barton 333fsb
512 mb kingston value ram
albatron kx600 pro based on via kt600 chipset
ATI Radeon 9600 256mb
56k modem (not sure of brand)
60 gb maxtor hd 7200 rpm

Any idea of what this might be worth to someone who just wants something to surf the web and play some older games?

I believe price checks are not allowed. Look on EBay or for recent sales in the For Sale/Trade forum if you want to know how much something is worth.

that's not low end.... 🙁 LOL thats like my rig exactly with 1/3 the ram but with a better video card...oh and nforce2... either way it can still pack a pretty good punch i'd say mid-end is more appropriate 🙂

I don't think you'll get banned for it. Every once in a while someone will try to price-check, and I haven't heard of anyone getting banned. If the thread doesn't just slide off into oblivion, the mods should just lock it.

I saw the no-price-check rule in the For Sale/Trade Section but I didn't know it applied to this section as well. After all I don't plan on selling to anyone in the forum. Oh well, Live an' Learn.
