I would consider AA/AF and such more as universal filters/effects (whichever suits better) than mere game settings. Typically games separate various detail settings and AA/AF options, so I wouldn't call running without them "low detail".
I'm not sure what you?re getting at here. You can decouple game options and AA/AF by forcing the latter through the control panel.

Running without AF and AA is low detail. That?s how we used to run games ten years ago on the Voodoo 1.

Personally I would like to see...

*Various types of games instead just the same 3 shooters
*OpenGL games always
*Video tests for things like Blu-ray etc.
*No 3dmark
*Heat\Noise\Powerdraw
*List actual prices instead of retail prices
*Some level of AA/AF should be used.
*Only use drivers that are publicly available (beta are fine, if a public link to download them are provided)
*I hope to one day see physics tested, some how.
