What would you keep

I bought 2 laptops too see which one I liked better. Their both samsung, one is a 14 inch one is a 15 inch. The specs are identical, memory, cpu hard drive features. The only difference is the video card. The 14 inch only has a intel 4500 on board card and the 15 inch has a dedicated nvidia 9600 GS 512 meg card. The 14 inch is $800 the 15 inch is 1060. Would you pay $260 more for a dedicated graphics card or save the money?

Depends if you will actually play any games on the 15" laptop? If you're away from your desktop often, then maybe you'd like the laptop to play games on. But otherwise, you'll be playing games on your desktop rather than laptop 99.99% of the time when the desktop is available.

It really depends on how you will use the laptop. If it were my choice, I travel a lot, and don't play games at all (no time for that!) I would choose the 14-in. All things being equal, it would have greater battery life. Usually the 15-in models today are wide screen while the 14s are the old 4:3. It really is your call because only you know what you want it for.

Yeah I've actually decided to return both for the time being. I really couldn't justify the purchase of either. I'll wait until one comes out that fits exactly what I'm looking for. Something that is 14 inch with a decent video card and decent specs and under $700

If I had two notebook with 2 different graphic cards I would most likely keep nVidia card because it is far superior than Intel card.
