So a neighbor ran over her own sprinkler head yesterday and realized it but still drove off. It was spraying out like a geyser 15ft in the air for an hour. Figure they'd fix it but it's spraying again today - you're not even supposed to water the lawn except on odd/even days according to your house number. They are at work and probably don't give a shit (they have a history of not giving a shit about anything). So what would you do?

Depends on how well I know the neighbor. If I like them, I'd walk over and turn off the spigot. If I don't like them, I'd report it to whatever authority handles the water conservation ordinance.

If the water came into my property, I would turn it off anyway possible - bend the pipe shut, point it some other direction, etc.

Yeah, I would not talk to these people, unless them not giving a shit directly affected me and then I'd do whatever needs to be done.

I'd just leave it alone and mind my own business. If I have reason to believe they somehow don't know about it, I'd maybe go tell them as a courtesy, especially if it's an area that meters water.

I'd leave a note on the door, check the next day, and then call the municipal law enforcement.

If they're dangerous types, I wouldn't let them know it was me so I'd just call the police directly.

She was backing out of her driveway, amirite? See, I live with four females, one of whom is my wife, and I have a driveway with a slight curve in it. Not one of them can back out of that goddamn driveway. They hit the grass. They hit the cable boxes. They hit the post lamp. True story: I bought six of those 4-foot orange stakes that are supposed to prevent idiots from leaving the pavement, and by the next day all but one were knocked over and snapped off at the base.
