I have the option open to me to get an X2 4200 939 OEM or
for $30 more I can get the retail PIB version.

The OEM is from ewiz and the other from a local shop where I live.

Decisions decisions!!!!

PIB has a 3 year instead of 1 year warranty, and it comes with a HSF. I would go for the local one (there's also the shipping costs and returns are cheaper and easier if needed).

Yeah, I think I am going to go with the PIB. It should have the 4 heat pipe cooler on it and will cool just fine for my purposes.

The OEM comes with a 6 month warranty but even after shipping the difference is negligible.

Are you sure the 939 4200+ comes with the 4-pipe AMD cooler? I got a couple 4200+ X2 last year and neither had the good heatpipe cooler.

If not I will just grab one from ebay. I've seen them for around 7-15 bucks and they seem like an ok cooler for that price.
