I keep them, throw them into a big jar with the rest of my coins and roll them every so often. $40+ in "bonus" money is always nice.

did you know their are more pennies then their are nickles, quarters and dimes?
also the color of a penny is quite different, its copper but only on the outside layer basically cosmetic.
last, i hate pennies their so annoying!~

They aren't pure copper. Just a very thin copper shell. The inside is zinc.

i collected it. and once in a while on our trip to chicago we could use it in the toll machine!

illinois is the only state that allows pennies in their toll machines. got that out of one of the episodes of West Wing.
