Why not just put it in the bank? The economy being what it is it seems like extra money in the bank is a great thing to have these days.

If you must spend some maybe take $1000-$1500 and have some fun and bank the rest.

Already got an emergency fund set aside. Maybe i'll take $1k to Florida in september.

Unfortunately it's out of commission right now. I rolled the window down half way and it won't roll back up. I took the door panel apart and found it to be a faulty regulator. I need to order one and replace it before I can wash/wax it and put up some good pictures.

Unfortunately I have to do some maintenance on my wife's and my daily drivers and the used riding mower I just bought first.

Edit: And I'm hoping to keep the Monte forever. It has 86k miles on it and pretty much no problems whatsoever. I drive it very little. It's my wife's deceased grandma's car, so it has a lot of sentimental value. Her grandparents bought it new and still had the original window sticker that they gave to us.
