Here's another idea. Buy a truckload of cheap chinese toys, then sell them at the fair, via carnival type games. They don't cost jack shit, but if you can convince Billy Bob that he can win it, by putting 5 rings in a row around a coke bottle, at 20c per throw, even if he wins it, it didn't cost you jack shit.

Septic tank treatments are profitable too. You buy a gallon bottle of distilled water, add some food coloring, as well as a kick ass, super septic cleaning label. This one takes some work, but your $1 dollar bottles are worth about $100, but you must go door to door, convincing your clients that your treatment is worth it. Brochures, FTW! ;)

If you do not go to jail first, you'll make about a thousand per day, but if you get 20 other people selling your $1 bottles for $100, you'll be rich enough to buy a small country, in about 60 days. LOL

Some questions i dont see popping up that could affect the answer.

How old are you?
Do you rent or own.
Is the money a bonus or cash from actual hard work or would you consider it "found money" (Sold a domain name or hit lotto)

Go to grad school (or college if you haven't gotten your 4 year degree). Its a proven fact that people with college degrees make more over the course of their lives than people without a degree. If you have a degree, go back and get a Masters degree. That 20k if invested in a degree will pay many dividends later in life. :)

That would depend on the particular degree, and how you are able to use it afterwards. Not every program out there will have you come out ahead if you have to invest $20k+ into the schooling.
