Punch him in the throat or nards (your choice) every time he disparages your girl. He'll get the point eventually, one would hope.

If you are really stupid enough to think this guy is your friend, well...I don't know what to say. Friends should tell you if your girl is cheating on you, not put down someone you love's appearance just because they can't control their mouth. He sounds like a bitch you need to tell to go to hell.
 
Ignore his dumb ass and make fun of him for not having a girlfriend himself. Sounds like hes jealous of her and the attention and time your giving her and not him.

Seriously, for a guy who claims he hates the view, your friend seems to spend a lot of time looking at your g/friend, that should tell you something.
 
Same friend also laughs at me for not picking up these random chicks at the clubs/bars when he knows I'm getting very serious with my GF (engagement soon hopefully). He wants me to cheat on her, but I won't.

He always has this smirk on his face whenever he mentions these things too like he is better than me.

This guy does not sound like a good friend, and based on how you've described him, he's not better than you. First of all, it's just rude for him to put down your gf like that. There's no excuse for such behavior. Second, the fact that he wants you to cheat on her is just wrong.

I would sit him down and tell him that he's crossed his boundaries. There's no call for being so rude, and it looks really bad that he would encourage you to cheat. He's not being respectful toward you at all. Tell him how it makes you feel. Give him time to think about what friendship is supposed to mean.

I had a friend and I asked him to tell me what he thinks (knowing that he's brutally honest) and he gave me his opinion. Didn't bother me, just wanted to know what he thought (he was my best friend cuz he never bullshitted me). He only gave the honest truth when I asked for it though. He didn't blurt it out or anything. Sometimes i laughed and the things he pointed out, but i did ask for his opinion. Now, if this a girl you really care for quit a bit then I'd tell em to chill the fvck out.

Your friend may be gay and likes you so he hammers on the girls you pick to make you self-concious about the choices you make. 🙂 watch ur back and dont drop the soap

No other guy friend of mine has said anything negative about her. All my friends that are girls say she is really pretty too and that I'd be an idiot if I was to let her go.

He isn't really your friend. He wants you to break up with your girlfriend, and then is probably gonna look to score some rebound sex with your ex. In all likelihood if you did hook up with a random girl, he'd tell your GF about it just to get points.
