Not much.

1. NO MSI
2. Enermax 350 which has more power
3. A 3200 and overclcok
4. Crucial PC3200 8T ram which is highly overclcokable to 250mhz containing Micron C an G
5. Two seagate drives 160GB for cheaper and better drives with a full 5 yr warranty.

Still dont know why you would spend so much money on that harddrive, that you would never be able to tell the insignificant differences between, but if you really want to, then go with it..

And Bateluer, the 3400+ s754 is faster than the 3500+ s939

If you have to have a floppy drive, consider getting one of these.

You may also want to get a CDRW/DVD-ROM combo drive in the place of the DVD-ROM.

1)Ok, im still deciding between the maxtor and raptor, but will likely get the maxtor, because ive heard great things.
2)I wont upgrade for another 2-3 years, so theres really no point of s939--as i'll be changing my mobo with my cpu EVEN if i have s939.
3)I dont wanna wear down my dvd burner, so i might as well get a dvd rom drive, call me anal :p
4)I was told by multiple people that the dvd burner burns CDs too.

Do you guys think it'd be better to get a clawhammer 3400 and some better ram and OC to a 3700+? What RAM could i get thats like a hundred bucks more but OCs good?

1. I'd go with the 300GB Maxtor, the raptor may be a tiny bit faster, but I don't think it's worth it considering the size.
4. DVD burners do also burn CD's

I am using PC4000(ddr500) Kingmax memory for my overclock, and haven't had any problems with it. It was $203 for 2x512mb sticks on newegg.

Thats a great system your putting together!!

Nice build

I just built something similar for my parents using that Antec case.
That case is sweet!

I can't say the same for the the Asus P4PE Deluxe it replaced which had the infamous "cold boot" issue. (sometimes I'd have to turn it on multiple times)

I've heard Abit subcontracts to ECS now, so that's not encouraging.

You ever use a MSI Old Fart?

You dont think i should keep any of the above? :

I have one of those surge protectors btw. You guys think it'd be better to get a newcastle 3400 and the ram i have, or a clawhammer 3400 and get some ram (another 100 bucks or so is my limit) and OC the clawhammer to newcastle or above speeds? Would this require a new hsf or can i do it?
