No, I think traffic would be much better - without semis, there's no distribution of gasoline to gas stations.

Sunday, I was heading home on I-84 in PA. There are two construction areas - trooper was sitting well ahead of the construction area, motioning everyone to move over to the right lane. EVERY semi that went through there, as far as I could see, had moved to the right lane. Of course, traffic came to an abrupt halt because of all the ass-wipes who had to pass everyone in the left lane and then merge in just before the one-lane area. If everyone merged in where the trooper was, there would not have been any delay at all. So, it's not the semi's that cause problems - it's the idiots who think they're more important than everyone else.

Speed Limit 70 MPH

Left lane: Dumb bitch gabbing on phone wildly fluctuating between 60 and 80 MPH. Right lane: grandma, doing 60 MPH.

Way back behind two semis passing each other at 55 and 56 MPH respectively, a beater with a top speed of 60 MPH, and random tire treads, is mrSHEiK124, cussing as he tries to get to class.

Nearly all of the traffic problems on the east side of Tampa and in or around New Tampa are caused by idiots on Bruce B Downs Blvd. that INSIST on idling away from traffic lights and getting back up to the speed over the course of 5 miles, and said morons trying to get on I-75 heading southbound. Here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=...1412,0.019312&t=h&z=16 Dipshits pile onto the highway from westbound BBD, bring traffic to a halt because they don't understand merging, and back I-75 up all the way to I-4.

FDOT just finished a new two lane flyover to get those idiots on here, but the highway itself still goes back down to two lanes right after they merge! And near Bradenton with it's population of 50 fucking thousand, they get four lanes in each direction. Who the fuck is in charge of this stuff?

Damn, I really digress. Point is, other than semi trucks trying to pass each other when they really shouldn't, they're actually one of the SMALLEST traffic problems.
