This is glorious place, full of intelligent kind people, and the best mods in the biz, but what would it would it be like here with no moderation?

If you consider proving beyond a reasonable doubt that you don't even understand the side you're arguing for (let alone the one you're arguing against), while making a monumental jackass of yourself, as a good method for winning people to your line of thinking, then yeah, you probably succeeded.

It would become a spawning pool for trolls, where fierce and brutal battles are waged and only the strongest trolls survive. The aggregate trolling prowess of the survivors will form an emergent "super troll" far more powerful than that of 4chan. Entire communities will be wiped out with a single post; it will be the beginning of the end of the internet as we know it. Thank you mods for being the last line of defense against that dark and cruel future.

I hate it when people change their usernames unless it is some derivative of their previous one, like when CadetLee became JLee. I'm getting too old to keep it all straight.why does one change their name on here?
