What would make you happy?

Conky

Lifer
At this point in my life I want some peace and quiet so I would vote for a medium-sized ranch somewhere where people would just leave me alone.

Please feel free to detail and elaborate what would make you happy.

P.S. I would like a nice swimming pool at my ranch.

A lot of things make me happy. A cold beer, being with friends, going fishing with my dad. Sometimes just driving alone on the Idaho country roads makes me happy, especially in the spring and fall.

Excellent answer!

Money, so I can go work at Whistler Blackcomb and afford a nice mountain bike and a nice snowboard setup and just ride for the rest of my life and never have to work again. And if I happen to find a girl who will put up with me, then all the better.

Let me watch 300 now would make me pretty happy. God damn theaters in HK are not showing until this Thursday.

Also if I can play like Jimmy Page, that would make me happy.

A modest job that doesn't suck but gets me enough to buy a small old house with some money left over for occasional splurges on electronics, exciting food, etc, and arrogant bastard ale whenever I want it.

I believe the PC reply is, "World Peace."

True deep mutual love, good sex, money, the ready ability to "create" or attract into my life, to "produce" as it were, whatever is needed for my loved ones & myself. I truly don't give a hoot about power or name & fame.

having and Ariel Atom would be a good start. perhaps a mclaren slr as well. and a quiet 10 acre ranch in the middle of nowhere where i can enjoy the quiet.

Proving to myself I am capable of doing better financially and in my personal life. I just need that spark of motivation which I'm lacking at the moment. How long that moment last I dunno.

Lost in direction and a lack of motivator. It's one of those things where I know I need to change but don't really know how I'm going to go about it yet.

But for now, a beer and a bowl of noodle soup and getting back on track with my exercise routine would make me happy. If a car hit me tomorrow and took me away I'd be MUCH happier.

what would make me happy? to have a wife and two kids (boy and a girl) that loved me. money would be nice, but i'd take having a loving family over anything.

I'd like someplace that I could peruse my dreams without being judged by a greater society or government. Someplace I could congregate with like minded people to accomplish lofty goals without the idiotic majority of humanity to get in the way and ruin things. Money, sex, power, possessions all become meaningless in the larger mindset. Accomplishment is all I wish for.

Spiritual commune? What do you have in mind?

Perhaps... I personally don't believe in worshiping a deity, but I think being in stable surroundings and being able to have a clear mind without worry would be essential to various aspects of research/development for the future. Maybe not even that, maybe just thinking. Being able to spend the day working towards what I saw fit, without having to worry about money or politics.

Mayhap more of a technological commune.
