What would Jesus do?

Dear ATOT,

In times of troubling uncertainty or doubt I often ask myself: what would jesus do? Then I realize he's been dead a long time, so he'd probably just lay there.

Seriously, I respect people's right to religion and faith, but I'm tired of wading through some of the preachy posts here. Why is it that many people feel the need to share the gospel at a "computer hardware discussion forum?" 😕

Signed,

Your agnostic friend.

To the average fervent believer, sharing the news of Christianity is like sharing good news about life. Christians often refer to the "news about Christ" as "The Good News". They are so excited about it, that they can't help but share. It would be like getting a Ferrari F-50 or something. You'd want to tell everyone, even if they didn't care.

Well for one thing, this is the "Off Topic" forum ...... usually people post whatever they feel like posting in this section....so you can't really fault them for that.

If someone wants to bring up a theology thread, that's their business. It's not against the forum rules. That's why this is "Off Topic" and not "Highly Technical" 😉

WWJD
I have to ask myself what Jenna would drink quite often myself, but guessing from the hour at hand and the rumor that she follows in daddy's footsteps, I have to assume that she would be passed out and just laying there. Thus, no drink for tweak🙁

So you don't want preachy posts, but you make a thread about religion which always turns into bashing.

Does this make sense?😛

I've no issues about theology threads, they're actually interesting. It's when it's woven into discussions about hard drives and foot powder that's got me 😕.

It does to me. Are you a soothsayer?

Sooth, sooth

Why, yes I am!

Seriously, a DISCUSSION on religious topics would be nice, but that is impossible here, from both sides of the aisle. Too bad.

When has this ever happened? Lets see an example.

And if the Devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack...ouch...sit on a tack..ouch..sit on a tack, and if the Devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack, sit on a tack to staaaaaay!

what preachy posts? I've seen people preach more fervently about their movie preferences than religious preferences here. I don't really see the point in that statement.
