What would happen?

...Two seperate internet sources through into my computer? One would be coming from router 1 through WLAN, and one from router 2 through LAN.

Anyways to utilize both connections?

How do I do that?
I am sorry I forgot the Not.

Should be: A single regular computer would NOT befit from multiple connection.[/b]

The OS and the Hardware are not geared toward such a setting.

3COM Network cards can do this using driver settings, you just need a pair of them.

Adaptec and LSI make a NIC that has multiple RJ45 jacks on one pci card, the adaptec card (I have one) can do load balancing. I think but am not 100% sure about the model from LSI, but I belive it is the better of the two.

Not all 3COM cards support load balancing. My 3CR990SVR97 does, but my Adaptec ANA64022LV has much better performance than the 3COM. The 64044LV is the 4 port version of the same card.

LSI uses a dedicated INTEL CPU on their NICs to handle the TCP/IP processing and Load Balancing saving your CPU from the work and increasing network performance at the same time. I have not used one yet but would love to give it a try.

Adaptec 7211C Gigabit NICs are the best, notice in this picture the dedicated Intel XSCALE Processor and RAM/CACHE

I paid $90 for mine a while ago, there is one listed there for $15. I would be skeptical of the $15 one, I could be a counterfeit. The chineese are getting good a making fake electronics: Including CPU's! Buy one From ICT they are fairly reputable and extremely knowledgeable. The Installation CD is avaleble from 3Com's website.

A regular computer using windows XP or Linux should be able to do this. I have a ZyXel router that can do it IIRC (its basically a Linux box).

I am not running XP, my OS is Windows 2000 PRO so I bought a nic does the work in place of the OS. Hardware Accelaration is always better than it's software counterpart.
