What would cause this? Starting to p*ss me off....

Everytime I try to drag my mouse in my desktop it leaves behind the highlight box and the only way that it will go away is if i open a window over it or something. I can still highlight my icons and stuff, but its annoying.
Running win2k if it matters, and oh yeah, it still does it even after i reboot.
Thanks for any help.
 
It's either bad memory or a driver issue just upgrade you drivers or downgrade whatever, it should go away in your next upgrade. If id doesn't then..... probably bad video memory.
