Dump Cheney as VP and bring aboard McCain and then come down with a debilatating condition that would cause him to step down from the Office a month after inauguration.

Proves once again that bush-haters, liberals, democrats, etc. are pretty much idealists.

What's wrong with being an idealist? If we all didn't have our private conception of the good we wouldn't get anywhere.

To get my vote, Bush has to run against Kerry. In this case, he would be the best choice.

Well speaking for myself I don't hate Bush, I just don't think he's worth a sh!t as a President. I'm also not so enamored with Kerry either.

There's nothing he can do. He would have to somehow demonstrate he would not make more terrible decisions in the future. This is pretty much impossible. He'd also have to change all his policies and positions.

Spend 30 years in public service, AND become the first recipient of a brain transplant.

_______

To compare Bush with Hitler is ridiculuous.
Hitler had a mustache!

Good one...

Since fossil fuels have been, and will continue to be, the single most influencial source of energy on the planet, why would anyone do that? Denouncing fossil fuels is just plain stupid... however, supporting alternative energies is a good thing to do.

Now he's killed 100's of thousands of people? You guys just make this sh|t up as you go along don't you?

just wondering... what would have to change in the months between now and November for you to vote for Bush?

for me to change votes, he'd have to fire Rumsfeld (sp) and Ashcroft, drop Cheney as his '04 running mate (switching to a more moderate Republican that is a feasable presidential nominee for '08), and stop the nonsense about a constitutional amendment about gay marriage (states' right anyone?).

I'll second the comments re. stuffing the "Libs" label. There are lots of people all over the political spectrum who do not support Bush-lite.

For me, Bush would have to live his life over again from the beginning, demonstrating the integrity, honor, compassion, and record of competency that he lacks today.

You complain about the use of a label, and then you call President Bush, "Bush-Lite"... Sorry Lib.. you sir, are a hypocrit.

Its nice that you are wishing illness and pain upon people.. You sir, are a jackass. I hope someone you love comes down with some painful disease, and you have to watch them die a slow and painful death.. Actually, I don't wish that.. because I am not a completely worthless human being like yourself Red.. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.. But apparently you would..

I don't understand this constant circle jerk for McCain.. what exactly has McCain done that makes you think he would be such a great President? Please be specific.. It doesn't seem to me like being the co-sponsor of a horribly failed attempt at compaign finance should qualify you to seek the high office.

McCain is one of the few major non-partisan politicians that we have.

I agree with most of his positions, and he's a very honest politician with a great personality. Plus he has real war experience. Those are pretty all of the qualities I look for in a president.

I don't agree with McCain on everything, but as a polititian, he is a rare jewel in a coal pile. He actually has some common sense. He can argue for most of his positions (some are subjective) with real facts and figures, not FUD.

I'm not a "lib" but in order for Bush to get my vote again:

- Fire the following: Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith, Rove, Libby, Rice, Hadley, Ashcroft, Senor, McClellan, and Mehlman.
- Apologize to all of America for misleading us into war in Iraq
- Visit every American family whose son or daughter was killed by his unjustified war on Iraq and issue a formal apology to all of those who sustained injuries
- Admit that misleading us into war in Iraq diverted us from fighting the war on Terror
- Admit that he's clueless re:foreign relations and relied upon his administration and that the PNAC vision is a failed one and that the PNAC group will be declared an enemy of the state and all members thrown into jail in Guantanamo
- Admit to all of his flip-flops (about 18 or 19 major ones by my count)
- Admit he has a mental illness and vow to keep religion out of his policy-making decision process
- Accept mental health treatment so he can realize that someone critical of his policy-making decisions is not someone who is not loyal but, rather, someone who is actually capable of thought
- Admit he screwed the pooch by instituting the massive tax cuts that destroyed a great chance at making Social Security solvent and losing a chance to privatize retirement investment by Americans under the age of 38 (the age calculated by Paul O'Neill and Alan Greenspan as the cutoff point)
- Admit he's gone to great lengths to give in to business special interests instead of protecting the environment
- Admit he's gone too far in attempting to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban gay marriages

That's a good start.

McCain/Biden.

That would be a great ticket!
