Am I the only one missing something here?

Edit: Okay, now it makes more sense. I would say either a new video card or processor. Is that HDD a 7200RPM?

Nope.

What kind of motherboard do you have? If you're gonna blow $200 I'd wait for the nForce based mobo's and a cheap Athlon.

[edit]Ok that's better[/edit]

Yeah, I still think you need a faster DDR based mobo, but save your money...better things are around the corner.

- What would you suggest instead of the rage card...maybe GF2 with 32mb or 64mb of ram.

- The type of motherboard has been added it will support up to a 1.2ghz Athlon

I would agree that your video card needs to be upgraded. Get a GeForce2 GTS or Pro depending on your budget.

I say vid card. newegg.com has a genuine geforce 2 pro for about $150. Use the rest of the $ for the keg

If that was my system I'd be spending the money on a 1.2 Athlon for about
$114.00 & New video card.Either a Geforce Pro or Radeon.

It would help if you let us know what you use your computer for as well.
Toro:)

Personally, I'll dump the KT133 mobo and get a KT7E ($90.00), oc the D-700 to 1Ghz and buy a Radeon LE or GF2-MX400 ($75.00). KT133 chipset is just plain slow and non OC'able. Another option is if you're not a hardcore gamer then get at least an IBM 60GXP 20GB ($95.00) instead of the vid card.
