I've got a bunch of spare time, so I'd like to try making some money with Google AdSense. I tried it a while back, but my website sucked and I hardly got any visitors. I need a good idea for a website. What would attract lots of visitors?

No pr0n related suggestions, please 🙂

I guess its not appropriate since he hasnt posted a link to his site and asked us to visit.
 
to make money with adsense you'll need the following:
1) Start a website with content. Preferably with content that would garner you with high paying keywords. (Mesothelioma - asbestos cancer used to pay A LOT back in the day). Do some research and see what's hot nowadays.
2) Get your pagerank ABOVE 5 on google.
3) Have thousands of pages of targeted content. How you get those thousand pages is up to you. You can autogenerate some, or write your own.
4) Generate traffic in upwards of 10,000+ pageviews a day. If your ads are placed well you'll probably get a CTR (click through rate) of ~1%.
5) ...
6) profit.

It's that easy.
