Art History, so you'll double major in something almost worthless. Unless you KNOW you're going past undergrad (i.e. getting into med school or getting a masters, then phD in bio), your degree won't get you far, especially in terms of a biology-related field.

IMO double majors are worthless, unless you can get one pretty easily, dont bother. if you really love school get a masters instead.

They can help you get jobs. I knew an Electrical Engineering and Economics double-major and a CS/Econ/Humanities triple major. All sorts of econ-related job people were extremely interested in these people b/c of their choices of majors. They got a lot of interviews.

no one is gonna give a flyin fvck if you are a CS major with with another two majors in humanities and econ ifyou are applying for a development position the vice versa is also true. Ive interviewed plenty of these people and there lack of focus tells me they have no idea who they are or what they want to do. they are scatterbrained.
on the other hand if they got the double major in music or art history or whatever just cause they enjoyed the subject soo much thats something entirely different.

Well some people obviously give a flyin fvckI don't think they care about any other types of fvck though
They were also offered jobs in EE and CS related jobs. These people with multiple majors had tons and tons of interviews compared to people with single majors and were specifically told that having an EE and Econ or the triple-major was very impressive. It basically got them the job interview.

You're looking at this from strictly a CS/EE oriented view. Obtaining a double major can still be useful and beneficial. Getting a major in Econ (or whatever)/CS (or EE, CompE, etc) if you want to pursue a development type job would not be very beneficial. You can still acquire a double major easily and graduate within four years and pursue an MS at that time.
And, as said previously, you obviously could have used an English major.![]()

And both of you are only looking at the job angle of it.
What ever happened to becoming educated?

Look into getting a chemistry double major. You probably are not that many courses from getting one with a Bliology degree.
