what workout pants do you wear?

Ive been using some form of the 'dri fit' or mesh style longer shorts to do both cardio and weights. I typically wear a knee length pant so i can pull them up a bit for those movements like a military press that would expose my gut.

I was wondering what you guys prefer to wear.

For shirts i wear a dri fit style shirt all the time now...i almost hate the feel of sweaty cotton anymore 😛

Under Armor shorts with some sort of mesh shorts over them. I'll wear a white or grey t shirt to lift. I wear UA shirts/shorts for BJJ under my GI. MMA UA shirts/shorts with mesh shorts over them.

Running shorts with support mesh. Keeps the boys from bouncing around even when I have to jump over fallen trees or across ditches.

When we had sex ed, we also got a lecture from this 40s-odd lady who was a motivational speaker for young men and boys - you know, personal responsibility, academic achievement, etc. Anyway, she gave us her spiel, and the school hosted a morning tea, which she hung around for. So we were there, and I was hanging out with a few friends, and from another group I heard her say something to the effect of "I don't understand how men could wear boxers. Honestly. Testicular torsion is a nasty thing to have to go through, I'd imagine. Do they just kind of...bounce around...in there while you're running or something?"

I wear whitey tighties under my mesh shorts when I lift. The last thing I'd like to see when someone is laying on a bench is their balls hanging through their boxers. Just saying.

for underwear i use an athletic underwear that is like a tighter form fitting boxer brief.

while we're at it, what kind of shoes? I use an asic gel running shoe, for both cardio and lifting. I know serious runners and lifters scoff at that, but its what i do.

I was actually having pains when I was running commando style. The mesh has helped me a lot. No kidding. 🙂

And about the shoes: my shoes are Mizuno Wave Ascend most of the time (>90% of my running is trails) and Saucony ProGrid Omni Moderate for the roads. When I do go to the gym I wear some worn out Mizuno Wave Ascends.

My next pair of shoes will be NB MT101s (likely) or Salomon Crossmax XRs (if the wife will let me splurge).

I wear briefs when I work out, for the same reason. But I don't want to think about balls bouncing around, okay...?

I wear black Underarmor pants

I have these and they are awesome. I'll wear them out running with just boxer briefs down to around -15C before I need another layer. I've had them for a couple of years and wear them around the house on lazy days (which is a lot, since I work from home) and they haven't shown any signs of wear. Extremely comfortable too.

Yup, love mine. Only problem is that I have a white cat so I'm literally covered in hair when I wear them.

I wear similar shorts.

Primarily run pavement or hard packed trails, so I go with the Brooks Adrenalines.

Adidas shorts and cotton t-shirts. I like to have a soaking wet shirt; let's me know I've had a good workout 🙂

Nike running shorts with wicking material inner support lining
Nike free tr for lifting and cardio
Nike wicking shirts or undershirt or no shirt if it's hot enough

I just wear cheap shorts and cheap/old tshirts. My only exercise specific thing I do as far as a apparel goes is to not wear boxers because it is impossible to squat in them.
